The top 3 student startups in the final of the competition from the Ministry of Digital Transformation and YEP are determined
On February 18, 2021, the top 10 student teams of more than 120 participants presented their startup ideas developed as part of the Entrepreneurial University initiative.
This is an initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the YEP startup incubator network, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program.
The competition jury that evaluated the startup ideas included: Andrii Remizov (Diia.Business), Olesia Zaluska and Karen Isaakian (USAID CEP Program), Lesia Sevruk and Ihor Markevych (Ukrainian Startup Fund), and Anastasia Ovcharenko (Genesis).
During the final of the competition, Andriy Remizov, head of the online component of the Diia.Business project, said that the student startup competition could give birth to business projects in Ukraine that will become popular around the world.

Who won the competition?
The jury selected two winners at once: the student startup Memoria and the teacher startup Warm Wall. The OK Town project also made it to the top three.
- Memoria (Makarov National University of Shipbuilding) - a gallery of memories
- Warm Wall (a project by teachers at the Honchar Dnipro National University) - an energy-active air conditioning and heating system based on new construction technologies, alternative energy sources, and its accumulation in seasonal thermal accumulators
- OK town! (Sumy State University) - an optimized online platform (e-commerce platform) for providing services in the field of tourism, excursions and experiences.
What did the winners receive?
An invitation to the YEP!Starter incubation program and a trip to the Startup Day innovation conference, which will take place on August 25-27, 2021 in Tartu, Estonia.

As a reminder, the goal of the Entrepreneurial University project is to launch a trend of creating startups among young people and students. The pilot project began in September 2020. At the first stage of the project, the academic discipline "Innovative Entrepreneurship and Startup Project Management" was introduced in 76 universities across the country.
