Participation in the ifa program and support for Ukrainian artists
Olena Kasyan, a figure in the field of tourism and art and CEO of the cultural and tourist marketplace oktown.com.ua, recently joined the ifa mentoring program - "Mentoring for Ukrainians". This program, organized by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V. (ifa), headquartered at Charlottenplatz 17, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany, is an initiative designed to support Ukrainian women and representatives working in the field of arts and culture. More information about the program can be found on the official ifa website here.

The program opens up unique opportunities for mentees and mentors from Ukraine and neighboring countries, providing them with the tools and resources to adapt to new life conditions and build strong professional networks. Olena Kasyan, with her extensive experience in the arts, is mentoring Seva Abbas, an inspiring illustrator and designer whose work reflects a deep understanding of social issues and cultural challenges.
Over the past two months, Olena and Seva have been actively working together, sharing knowledge and resources, which has allowed Seva to develop her projects, particularly those focusing on important topics such as women's disappearance and domestic violence. Their collaboration has opened new horizons for both parties, allowing Seva to expand her visibility and influence through various media platforms, including her Behance and Instagram.

One of the key events in this mentoring program was an introductory seminar in Budapest, where fundamental strategies were discussed and the main goals of the cooperation were defined. Mentors and mentees were able to establish personal connections and develop individual action plans.
In December, the participants will gather in Berlin to take part in the final conference, which will serve as a platform for sharing experiences, evaluating the success of the program, and planning future actions. The conference will provide mentors and mentees with an opportunity to discuss the progress they have made and identify areas for further development in the field of arts and culture.
Encouraging interaction between mentors and mentees is a key aspect of Mentoring for Ukrainians. ifa actively supports the participants throughout the program by providing advisory support and organizing training seminars aimed at developing professional skills and improving their qualifications.
Olena Kasyan and Seva Abbas continue their cooperation aimed at creating new opportunities for expanding the creative potential of Seva and other talented artists participating in this program. They both demonstrate the power and value of mentoring relationships in the arts and culture, inspiring the next generation of artists to work to strengthen their voices and presence on the global stage.
