We are pleased to announce that OKTOWN has been shortlisted for the top twenty nominees of the Female Startup Pre-accelerator program sponsored by the Visa Foundation. This is a great opportunity for us not only to demonstrate our potential, but also to gain valuable experience and knowledge for further development.

About the Female Startup Pre-Accelerator (FSP) - Huge Thing program

Female Startup Pre-accelerator (FSP) is a part of the Facilitating Female Founders initiative, which aims to support women entrepreneurs with Ukrainian and Polish citizenship. The program lasts 8 weeks and is aimed at startups at the idea or pre-funding stage (pre-seed). Participants receive a full package of workshops and mentoring sessions aimed at business development, product development, strategic planning, customer acquisition, and fundraising.

Our achievements and plans

Having been shortlisted in the top 20 nominees, OKTOWN has the opportunity to receive $10,000 for project development. During the program, we will work with experts on the following key aspects:

• Growth strategy: developing an effective strategy for scaling our startup.
• Customer acquisition: learning how to attract and retain customers.
• Financial aspects: business valuation, preparation for negotiations with investors.

Our partners and mentors

As part of the program, we get access to a network of mentors and experts from Huge Thing and SpeedUp Venture Capital Group who will provide valuable advice and support. In addition, each participant will have the opportunity to work individually with a mentor to adapt the knowledge gained to the needs of their business.

What lies ahead

At the final stage of the program, at Demo Day, we will present our ideas to the jury. The top 10 startups will receive a $10,000 grant for further development. In addition to financial support, we will receive a significant increase in visibility in the CEE startup ecosystem, networking opportunities with other startups, corporations, and venture capitalists.
