Article: Silent march in Valencia: NGOs Damark and OKTOWN stand in solidarity with Ukraine
On February 24, a silent march was held in Valencia as an expression of global solidarity and support for Ukraine in its struggle for independence and freedom. NGO Damark in cooperation with NGO Okay Town joined the Global Campaign #StandWithUkraine by officially registering for participation and attending this important event in the Spanish city.

This event became a symbol of the unwavering commitment and determination of the Ukrainian people in the face of aggression. Olena Kasyan, whose contribution to this event is particularly significant, created a painting with her own hands. This is an artistic expression where the arms raised in the air on the canvas symbolize the strength of spirit and invincibility of Ukrainians, their readiness to resist aggression, regardless of the circumstances.
The participants of the march gathered at 17:00 at Mercado Central and moved along the main streets of Valencia, expressing their support and solidarity. At 18:00, a minute of silence was held at Plaza Ayuntamiento, during which portraits of the fallen heroes were displayed. The march ended at 18:30 at Plaza de la Virgen, leaving a powerful imprint of unity and mutual support.
This event was not only a tribute to the victims of Russian aggression, but also a reminder of the indomitable Ukrainian spirit. In Valencia, the heart of Spain, the Ukrainian community, together with local residents and representatives of international organizations, expressed their solidarity with Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of global support in the fight for peace and justice.
The dress code of the event - dark, black with elements of Ukrainian symbols - was a sign of deep respect and sorrow for the lost lives, as well as unwavering faith in victory. On this day, Valencia became a place where every step and silent moment united hearts in the desire for peace for Ukraine and the whole world.
